COVID-19 Procedures (as of April 15, 2021):

  • All players and spectators use Door E.
  • Spectators can now watch games from general seating area.
  • Arena capacity 1,000
  • No Bags, only a small bag for personal items, needs to fit under a chair.
  • Players need to arrive dressed 15 minutes before game/practice start.
  • Goalies should arrive partially dressed.

COVID-19 Procedures (as of April 1, 2021):

The EDHC will be strictly following the MN Department of Health (MDH) rules and Minnesota Hockey Guidelines.

  • Players are to arrive dressed carrying skates helmets and gloves. 10 minutes before ice time and must exit the building within 10 minutes of leaving the ice. 
  • We require all who enter to fill out the QR code which provides us with tracing information if there should be an outbreak at the time you were here at our facility. This includes those using the ice. 
  • No bags are allowed. 
  • Spectators at games (April 1st) are limited to four family. Children under the age of 12 in but must be seated next to an adult and may not be unaccompanied on the mezzanine or anywhere else in the building. 
  • All spectators and players/coaches will be required to wear a mask and always maintain proper social distance guidelines.
  • No dryland activity or team workouts may occur in the facility. 
  • Players will be admitted 10 minutes before the scheduled ice time. No earlier. Spectators will be admitted at game time.
  • Do not drop players off any earlier due to the weather.
  • We have installed a doorbell if we are not at the door at the time please ring the doorbell.

COVID-19 Procedures (as of April 14, 2021):

  1. All locker rooms are closed. Teams will be provided with two separate skate tying areas.
  2. No bags in the facility, except goalies.
  3. All players must come fully dressed with the exception of helmet, skates, and gloves. Goalies may be ½ dressed.
  4. Officials will be allowed in with the players 10 minutes prior and will be provided the Referee room for skate tying.
  5. Players, coaches, official and game off ice officials CANNOT ENTER ARENA UNTIL 10 MINUTES BEFORE TEAM’S SCHEDULED ICE TIME.
  6. All players, coaches, officials, and spectators must be out of the arena within FIVE minutes of leaving the ice.
  7. Everybody in the arena, both on and off the ice, must wear a mask.
  8. SPECTATORS: Four spectators per player will be allowed into the arena AT game time. Spectators will not be allowed in until players are on the ice and will enter through the front doors (doors facing Ugstad Road- the bigger parking lot). Max capacity of the Arena is 150 people.
  9. No dryland activity within the arena.
  10. Anything left in the building will be thrown away. No Lost and Found.

  • 2 Spectators per player.
  • Children under 18 are allowed. They need to be seated next to their accompanied guardian for the entirety of the game. If children are caught running around the arena, the guardian and children will be asked to leave the arena immediately. Children do not count towards the 2 spectator per player restriction.

COVID-19 Procedures (as of April 5, 2021):

Superior Rink Management has new guidelines set forth to deal with COVID 19 and social distancing updated for Monday 4-5-21. With these changes we are asking all people that visit the rink to follow these rules.

Masks MUST be worn while inside the building

1. All people entering the building age 5 and older MUST wear a mask at all times.
2. Players and coaches may take them off when on the ice.
3. When on the bench, coaches are still required to wear a mask during games.
4. Enter the main doors and go through the arena to access locker rooms.
5. Locker rooms are now open but teams are asked to limit their time in the locker rooms to 20 min before and after ice time.
6. Spectators are limited to 4 per player, and are asked to spread out
7. Spectators will be allowed to watch sessions in the arena bleachers while wearing a mask and following other social distancing guidelines. Lobby will not be open for viewing. 
8. Concessions will be closed.
9. Dryland area is closed until further notice.
10. Please bring your own water bottles. The fountain near the locker-rooms will be available for filling purposes.
11. Other items while at the rink.

a. No spitting on the floors.
b. If you forget to bring equipment, we will not be able to provide replacement equipment to use.
c. If you are sick in any way please, stay home

Douglas County Department of Health and Human Services has approved us to allow players to get dressed inside the building if people follow the rules listed above. One person or group that does not comply could affect everyone.
